LEADING THE MOVEMENT

Josiah currently serves as the Chair of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Brevard.

Prior to that, he served as the President of the Space Coast Young Republicans from 2020-2022. 

In addition to his local service, Josiah is the Regional Director of the Young Republicans National Federation.

Since 2010 Josiah has been a Precinct Committeeman with the Brevard Republican Executive Committee, where he works to help elect Republicans throughout our county. 

PUTTING OTHERS FIRST

Josiah has volunteered for over 45 different Republican candidates across 6 different states.

In the last six years alone, Josiah has knocked on the doors of over 50,000 voters to emphasize the importance of electing conservative Republicans up and down the ballot. 

Josiah led the Space Coast Young Republicans get out the vote initiative which inspired young conservatives in Brevard to complete over half a million voter contacts during the midterm elections. 

ADVOCATING FOR THE ISSUES

Josiah is an outspoken advocate for the second amendment, cutting taxes, and balancing budgets.

Josiah is a regular at county and city meetings where he not only speaks for concerned Brevard residents but proposes solutions.  

Josiah's Op-Eds highlight issues facing conservatives in the county and have been featured numerous times in the Florida Today, Space Coast Daily, and other publications.

Rockledge deserves a leader who comes to the table prepared to govern. Josiah has the experience to be that leader. He is serving or has served on the following boards and committees: 

• Brevard County Redistricting Committee 

• Space Coast Economic Development Commission

• Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization Citizens Advisory Committee representing Rockledge 

• Member of the Rockledge Business Development Committee 

• Member of the Rockledge Board of Adjustment

SERVING THE COMMUNITY AS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER

Josiah owns two UPS Store Franchise Locations, one of which is in Rockledge. The stores gross over 1.5 million in revenue annually and employ 12 people on average. 

During COVID, Josiah avoided laying off employees and continued operations to support essential transportation and communication needs for our community. 

NURTURING HIS BREVARD ROOTS

Josiah and his wife, Julie, are both lifelong residents of Brevard County and own a home in Rockledge, where they intend to raise a family.

Josiah is the oldest of five siblings. His family has lived in Brevard County for over 40 years, with his father working for Harris Corporation for many years. 

Josiah's wife, Julie, is a Pediatric Physical Therapist beginning work at Brevard Public Schools this year.

When he is not serving his community or working to provide for his family, Josiah enjoys kayaking the Indian River, biking around Rockledge, and visiting the many historical sites in Florida.
