When is the Election? 

The 2023 City of Rockledge General Election is on November 5th, 2024.

You must be registered to vote by October 7th, 2024, to be eligible to vote in this year's Rockledge City Council elections.


What form of government is Rockledge City Council? 

The Mayor and City Council serve as the legislative backbone of the City of Rockledge, however, the actual management and routine operations of the City fall under the purview of the City Manager. This managerial role is supported by a team of departmental staff which includes the City Clerk and Public Relations Officer, Finance Director, Building Official, Planning Director, Director of Public Safety, Director of Public Works, and the Director of Wastewater Treatment and Water Reclamation.

What is your Party Affiliation?

Josiah Gattle is running as a candidate for a nonpartisan office. Nonpartisan elections prohibit a candidate from running on their Party affiliation. Candidates can, however, share relevant experiences that voters may find informative as they make their decision. Josiah Gattle has an extensive background of service within the Republican Party. He served as the Former Chair of the Space Coast Young Republicans and currently holds the position of Chair for the Republican Liberty Caucus. He is also a member of the Brevard Republican Executive Committee. To qualify for membership in this committee, an applicant must present their voter registration and demonstrate that they have not been a member of another political Party recently.
